Link categories 

To further clarify evaluation of the subscriber’s behavior (meaning their clicks on the hyperlinks included in the newsletter), certain link categories have been established in BACKCLICK. This makes it possible to sort hyperlinks into link categories once you have created the newsletter.

In addition to checking the accessibility (which is displayed in green or red), you can assign a category to the select box using the link on the right. But the categories need to have been previously defined in the system. No categories are defined in the delivery status. Open the menu item Newsletter Editorial Staff (main menu) -> Link - Categories (submenu). An overview of the already available categories will be displayed and can be edited, deleted, or newly created "Add" here.

Create categories 

To create a category, please click on the "Add"-button. This will open a separate window. Enter the name, a description, and the list rights of the category here.

Once you have created a category, it will be displayed in the link check (after you have stored a newsletter), and will be available for use. After the newsletter has been sent and some of the subscribers have clicked on the hyperlinks, the BACKCLICK statistics will display an overview sorted by hyperlinks and their categories:
