eRobinson â Restriction of sending
lets you choose which subscribers will or will not receive a particular newsletter. Newsletters may be sent to mailing lists where not all of the subscribers registered on the list will receive the newsletter. The following criteria may be used for restriction:Â
- Exclusion of e-mail addresses administered by external databases
- Exclusion of subscribers also registered on other mailing lists
- Exclusion of subscribers contained in profile filters
- Exclusion of subscribers contained in BACKCLICK filters
This means, for example, that you are able to send a newsletter to Mailing List ID 1 and exclude all sirs Sirâs (profile filters) from the sending. You can also exclude all subscribers who did not open an HTML newsletter you sent before. This would be a so-called âprobe actionâ to all the subscribers who did not react. You can also use an external eRobinson database connection that accesses e-mail addresses from your companyâs database, and exclude these e-mail addresses from sending. All criteria for exclusion can be combined. To choose the criteria, mark the check box âActivate eRobinson treatmentâ and the desired criteria. The selected criteria will be listed in the right box after the choice. The numbers after each of the criteria mean:Â
- Available mailing list â ID of the mailing list
- Available profile filter â number of e-mail addresses contained
- Available BACKCLICK filter â number e-mail addresses contained

You can see the number of blocked e-mail addresses during and after sending the newsletter. Go to the menu âStatistics -> Newsletter Statistics.â The itemized breakdown is shown in the detail view of the newsletter, according to the selected criteria.
